How to Sync / Setup your Sky Q remote
Setup A Replacement SKY Q Remote Control
If you are having issues with a new remote control - follow the little video from SKY HELP linked below to get it working - generally this would for SKY Q remotes of Branded and Unbranded Devices. SKY HELP
For A new remote
With the Q box ON with green led try completely resetting your remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box
Then press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
Choose a remote for the correct Sky platform
Sky HD, Sky Q and Sky Glass/Stream use different handsets. For Sky Q, confirm whether you need Bluetooth voice control or an infrared-only replacement before ordering.
