From January 23rd, 2023, to February 23rd, 2023, the BBC will close your regional BBC One SD channel and replace it with a UK-wide version of BBC One. At the same time, the BBC will launch the HD version of your local BBC One channel. Starting in 2024, the BBC will end all SD broadcasts on satellite.
So anyone with a SD only box will need to upgrade to get the BBC services
A cheap option for this would be the Manhattan Box in our catalogue, or if you would to be able to record and stream online / on-demand as well, try the Arris UHD boxes.
