Using Non-Freesat Mode on Freesat Boxes
Using Non-Freesat Mode on Freesat Boxes
Non-Freesat mode, also known as manual mode, is a feature available on Freesat receivers that allows users to access additional channels beyond those included in Freesat’s standard lineup. This mode is useful for tuning into channels from different TV regions or free-to-air channels that are not part of Freesat’s offerings.
For example, you might use Non-Freesat mode to access regional variations of ITV.
The complexity of switching to and from Non-Freesat mode varies with the receiver. Newer and more advanced models may make this process more cumbersome, often making it more suitable for users familiar with system adjustments. For a simpler experience, Manhattan receivers offer a straightforward approach to Non-Freesat mode.
