Using Multiple Boxes in One Room

This is for Humax Freesat & Humax Youview Boxes of various models (but not all), you need the Original Humax Remote control to carry out this function

Are you struggling with remote control conflicts between multiple receivers in the same location? Don't worry, there is a simple solution to this common issue. By changing the remote control coding, you can ensure that your commands are accurately received by the intended receiver. Follow these steps to change the remote control coding for your Humax products:

Step 1: Prepare the Setup

Start by turning on your TV set and the specific Humax product that you want to change the remote code. Make sure that any other Humax products in the vicinity are either in Standby mode or powered off at the mains.

Step 2: Point and Hold

Point the remote control directly towards the remote control sensor of the target receiver. Press and hold the 0 and OK buttons simultaneously for approximately 5-10 seconds. This action will trigger a message to appear on the TV screen.

Step 3: Select the Mode

On the TV screen, you will see the message: "You can change the remote control mode. Press a Numeric Key (<1> ~ <6>) to select the mode Current mode: Mode 1." Use the numeric buttons on the remote control to select a different mode from 1 to 6.

By following these simple steps, you can easily change the remote control coding for your Humax receivers and avoid any conflicts when using multiple devices in the same location. Enjoy seamless control over your entertainment system without any interruptions.
