Hey everyone, how is your TV viewing today?
Here's a little blog post about an error message that some people have been seeing on their UHD 4K freesat boxes
Are you seeing this message?
The message reads we are setting up your dish This may take a short while
And seems to appear for some people very often especially when starting the box up
This seems to be a known issue that freesat will hopefully be looking at in the next software update
Can We get rid of this message?
But if you're looking for a work round that will stop this message appearing so often my only suggestion at this time is to carry out a full factory reset this will wipe all your recordings but many users of the box of reported the message comes up a lot less
We will update this post when we see a more confirmed resolution to this issue
Who is effected by this error message?
The boxes that are affected would be any Arris branded boxes with code UHD-4X or -UHD-X (none recordable)
Humax and Manhattan Boxes would not see these error messages
