This is a common problem with both Humax, Manhattan & Arris boxes
The reason we see this happen so often is very simple, and its not the box at fault.
It is often the satellite cable from your dish causing an issue with a short circuit of some sort,
Its easy to test, just unplug your satellite coax from the box and try and boot, if it starts up without issue, you need to look at a repair to the cable and/or satellite LNB.
How to make a fix...
- Check your coax cables for damage / water ingress (damage to outer or cuts)
- Check the plugs and back of the box for burning (shorting) and that the F-Type plugs are on correctly
- Check the LNB for damage from the ground
- Replace where needed
