freesat cards from sky - I recently quit Sky after over 20 years with them and returned their loaned Sky Q boxes etc.

  Hi guys,I recently quit Sky after over 20 years with them and returned their loaned Sky Q boxes etc. As I had three Sky+HD boxes in loft I connected two of these to the two tv's here and replaced the LNB in the Sky dish with a universal LNB from Screwfix. I now have quite a lot of Freesat stations on both tv's. I see you have Sky Freesat viewing cards for sale to access more Freesat stations. Are these just plug and play type thing,ie,remove card currently in Sky+HD box,replace with your card and all extra functions/Freesat stations just work ? Or do you have to do something else to get your cards to work ? Paul

  Hi

   

  The cards we sell are for FREESAT(FROM SKY) so if you already have a card in your box, it will do nothing extra.

   

  If you dont have cards in your box, it will localise the box (BBC region etc) and give you a few extra channels (mainly international language ines)

   

  it will not give you have premium channels or active recording
