SKY HD Box Recorder Repair - Is your SKY HD Box Stuck with a RED LIGHT?

Sky HD Box Repair Service

The booking payment covers postage to us only. Larger items, such as DVD recorders, have a higher postage charge. Testing is free and repair costs are separate.

Repairs typically cost £60–£75, including return delivery. Your quote depends on the model and fault. We test your device and send you a quote for approval before carrying out any paid repair.

Models and faults covered

For Sky DRX890, DRX890/W, DRX890/Z, DRX895 and DRX595 models only. Select your model when booking. We assess boxes stuck with a red light, startup failures and other hardware faults.

This booking is for mainland UK addresses. Contact us before ordering from elsewhere.

How the repair service works

1. Book the appropriate service and select your model where offered.
2. We email you a postage label. Print it, pack your device securely and attach the label to your parcel.
3. We receive and test your device, then send you a quote. You decide whether to proceed.
4. Once you approve the quote, we complete the repair and return your device. Return delivery is included in the repair quote.

Turnaround and warranty

Most standard repairs take around 4 calendar days from receipt, subject to prompt approval of your quote. Delivery time is separate from workshop turnaround.

Completed repairs include a 6-month repair warranty.

No fix, no repair fee

If we cannot repair your device, or you decline the quote, there is no testing or repair charge. Postage fees still apply.

Choose return delivery for £4 or free recycling. If you need an engineer’s report, the return option including the report costs £20. The initial postage or express booking payment still applies.
