Vestel 17PW26-4 Power Board — 5-Piece Capacitor Repair Kit
Repair your TV With some basic tools and a soldering item - This is a DIY KIT not a service.
This kit contains the 5 most commonly failed capacitors on the Vestel
17PW26-4 power board. Replacing these restores normal operation in the
majority of cases. A printed replacement guide with component locations,
polarity orientation and fault symptoms is included with every kit.
SYMPTOMS THIS KIT ADDRESSES
- TV completely dead — no standby light
- Ticking or clicking from PSU
- TV powers on then shuts down after a few seconds
- Backlight flicker or no backlight
- Random resets or relay chatter
- Intermittent standby LED
KIT CONTENTS
- C851 — 1000µF 35V (near secondary rectifiers)
- C850 — 1000µF 35V (next to standby circuit)
- C863 — 1000µF 35V (near transformer secondary)
- C961 — 470µF 35V (near CN961 connector)
- C818 — 3300µF 16V (near IC830 FAN7711) — uprated from 2700µF
Note: Capacitor voltage ratings may be slightly uprated from originals.
