SSD UPGRADE: If your hard drive is causing you issues, one option is to remove the standard mechanical drives and replace it with a Solid State Drive, with Zero Noise, lower power usage & lower heat and fast access times, the SSD drive are a little more expensive but could improve your viewing experience.

If you are looking at replacing your hard drive yourself, this is the basic hard drive you need. if your box has stopped recording there is a 90% chance replacing the hard drive will fix the problem
